Achilles tendon of skate cut open: Season over for Braun - Constantin Braun’s season ends after Achilles tendon severed in brutal on-ice accident

The accident happened in a match against Kölner Haie. An opponent’s skate blade accidentally sliced Braun’s left Achilles tendon, forcing him off the ice immediately. He had only just returned to play after missing weeks with a separate foot problem.

The injury cuts short Braun’s campaign, leaving Nuremberg without one of their most experienced defenders. His recovery timeline remains unclear, but the team will need to adjust without him for the rest of the season.
