Upavon Fillies' Stakes: Azaniya Tops Favourites Ahead of Exciting Race

The Upavon Fillies' Stakes, a Listed contest for three-year-old fillies run over a mile and a quarter, is set to be an exciting race this year. The top contenders include Azaniya, Revoir, Wujjood, and Miss Justice.

Azaniya, the favourite, is expected to complete a hat-trick after her recent wins at Newmarket and Windsor. She has shown strong form stepping up in class, making her a formidable opponent.

Revoir is considered the main danger, despite an underwhelming run at York recently. However, her strong performance earlier in the spring, including a close second at Newbury, suggests she is still a force to be reckoned with.

Wujjood is ranked third among the contenders, having posted progressive Racing Post Ratings on each start since her defeat by Nanino Niyati over course and distance in June. Despite this loss, Wujjood has no stamina queries, having made her debut on the occasion when she was beaten by Nanino Niyati over the same distance.

Miss Justice is another progressive filly regarded as a threat behind the top three. She has shown reliable form and has the potential for further improvement.

Other runners include Rose Prick, Ambiente Amigo, Nanino Niyati, and a few longshots. However, the above four are the key ones to watch. Current betting odds reflect these standings: Azaniya at 5/4, Revoir at 11/4, Wujjood at 7/1, and Miss Justice at 11/2.

Ed Walker, trainer of Rose Prick, hopes Rose Prick will run a big race in the Upavon Fillies' Stages. Rose Prick wasn't disgraced when eighth in a big field for the Kensington Palace Stakes over a mile at Royal Ascot.

Thady Gosden, joint-trainer of Miss Justice, believes Miss Justice should be just as effective back in trip in the Upavon Fillies' Stakes. Miss Justice won well over a mile and a half on the all-weather last time.

The well-regarded horse Revoir, who finished sixth in the Oaks at Epsom in June, is among the Classic generation participating in this race. Revoir handled quick ground when she was second at Newbury before the Oaks, and Hector Crouch, her rider, believes the race looks a good fit for Revoir as she gets a nice bit of weight from the older runners.

Elsie's Ruan, an interesting outsider in the race, has a pedigree that suggests she'll stay the distance of the Upavon Fillies' Stakes. She finished within three lengths of Lake Victoria in the Sweet Solera last year.

James Owen, trainer of Ambiente Amigo, believes Ambiente Amigo has a nice chance in the Upavon Fillies' Stakes. Ambiente Amigo is 1lb better off with the favourite on previous form in the race.

In summary, Azaniya leads with solid recent victories, while Revoir and Wujjood have shown strong form performances recently, making them top contenders in the race. Miss Justice and Rose Prick are also ones to watch, with their reliable form and potential for improvement. The race promises to be an exciting one, with the well-regarded Revoir and the progressive Azaniya leading the charge.

Horse-racing and sports enthusiasts will be delighted by the upcoming Upavon Fillies' Stakes, as it promises to be an exciting race this year. Among the top contenders are Azaniya, who has shown strong form and is expected to complete a hat-trick, Revoir, who is considered the main danger despite an underwhelming run at York, Wujjood, a filly with progressive Racing Post Ratings, and Miss Justice, another progressive filly regarded as a threat.
