Conor McGregor and Mike Perry Feud Intensifies

The ongoing feud between Conor McGregor and Mike Perry has taken a new turn. To celebrate Josh Diekmann's victory in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), McGregor, who is a co-owner of the organization, tagged Perry on social media, mocking his lack of championship titles in the sport.

In a VITRIOLIC response, McGregor wrote: "You've never been a world champion in bare-knuckle boxing. We made a fake belt for you... Don't mention Bare Knuckle FC again." This remark comes after McGregor cut Perry from the BKFC roster following Perry's loss to Jake Paul in a boxing match last summer.

In an appearance on his podcast, Perry responded to McGregor's latest jab with sarcasm, stating, "If people prefer listening to Conor talk about bare-knuckle boxing over watching me fight in this format - that's their choice. I spent the whole day today rewatching my fights. I'm a real beast, honestly. I go out there and destroy people in the ring."

It's worth noting that McGregor hasn't fought since his leg-breaking loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. Perry hasn't fought since his loss to Paul. Before that, Perry was one of the main stars of BKFC, defeating former UFC champions Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez.

The escalating hostilities between the two fighters suggest that a future matchup could be possible. Despite the ongoing verbal sparring, it appears that any potential fight is yet to be officially announced, and the focus remains on their ongoing feud rather than concrete fight plans. A future fight could potentially take place in the BKFC, given McGregor's involvement and Perry's recent interest in the organization. Whether this hypothetical match would actually take place remains to be seen, considering both fighters' involvement in other projects and ongoing feuds.

Bookmakers are likely to offer betting odds for a potential mixed-martial-arts (MMA) fight between Conor McGregor and Mike Perry, given their ongoing feud and McGregor's co-ownership of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). Perry, who has been a main star of BKFC in the past, commented on his potential interest in returning to the organization for such a fight.
