Confusion for Corbyn as Zarah Sultana accuses recently established left-wing party of being a 'male-dominated club'

In a series of unexpected developments, the newly formed political party 'Your Party' is facing a significant challenge as co-founders Zarah Sultana and Jeremy Corbyn find themselves at odds.

The latest incident, an unauthorized email sent to supporters urging them to become paid members ahead of the party's inaugural conference this year, has added to the teething problems the party is experiencing. The email, it seems, was not sanctioned by Jeremy Corbyn.

The disagreements between the two co-founders have escalated over issues related to antisemitism, specifically regarding the acceptance of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism. Zarah Sultana has accused Jeremy Corbyn of "capitulating" over antisemitism, an allegation the former Labour leader has yet to refute.

In response to Jeremy Corbyn's statement, Zarah Sultana claims she has been sidelined by the party and subjected to a "sexist boys' club". In a move to assert her influence, Zarah Sultana launched a membership portal for supporters to engage and organize. However, her statements about the membership launch contradict Jeremy Corbyn's advice to disregard it.

The exact nature of the unauthorized email and whether the party's email database was hacked remains unclear. Jeremy Corbyn is seeking legal advice regarding the matter. Meanwhile, the former Labour leader's name has been removed from the Companies House listing of 'Your Party UK Ltd', as other Independent MPs became directors, although the exact dates of their appointments are not specified.

Despite these challenges, Zarah Sultana's membership portal for 'Your Party' promises a "safe, secure, legitimate portal for the party". There is, however, no information available about the person with significant control of 'Your Party UK Ltd'.

As of now, there has been no confirmation from either party about a potential resolution to their disagreements. The ongoing dispute is a stark reminder of the challenges that come with forming a new political party and the importance of maintaining unity and clear communication within its ranks.
