Confirmed Participants for Tour of Britain Women: FDJ-Suez, SD Worx-Protime, Lidl-Trek join the lineup in a robust team roster reveal.

Bringing the Best to Britain: The second edition of the Tour of Britain Women, happening in June, promises to be a spectacle with an impressive lineup of 18 teams ready to take on the challenge. Among the powerhouses set to participate are 12 Women's WorldTour squads, as announced by British Cycling.

A total of 108 riders will be partaking in this historic event, making it the largest field in the tour's history. One of the standout teams is SD Worx-Protime, given they boasted last year's victor, Lotte Kopecky. Other WorldTour teams joining the race include FDJ-Suez, AG Insurance-Soudal, Canyon-SRAM zondacrypto, Ceratizit, Lidl-Trek, Movistar, Picnic PostNL, Visma-Lease a Bike, UAE Team ADQ, and Uno-X Mobility.

In addition to these high-profile teams, five British UCI Continental teams – Smurfit Westrock, Hess Cycling, Das Hutchinson, Handsling Alba Development, and CJ O'Shea Racing – will also be competing, along with EF Education-Oatly and the Great Britain squad.

Elynor Bäckstedt of UAE Team ADQ, who has raced in the last two editions of the race, shared her enthusiasm for returning to the UK: "The UK crowds are phenomenal, and it's amazing to see children from schools watching. As a team, it'll be crucial given the varied course, making it a fantastic stage for us to showcase our abilities and the UK's offerings to the world."

The race will traverse the northern regions of England and Scotland, with the southernmost point being North Yorkshire. The grand finale will be held in Glasgow on a city center circuit. British Cycling Events Managing Director, Jonathan Day, commented on the excitement surrounding the event: "We are thrilled to bring top-tier teams and athletes to our communities this June, as part of the UCI Women's WorldTour. We aim to exhibit the best of their character and terrain, delivering four exciting and challenging stages."
