Confirmed Dancer for the 2025 Strictly Come Dancing Series: A Gladiator Contestant

The upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing is shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet, with a host of famous faces rumoured to be joining the dance floor. Here's a roundup of the celebrities who are reportedly in talks or have already been confirmed to take part in this year's competition.

Neighbours Stars on the Dance Floor

Legendary Neighbours stars Delta Goodrem and Natalie Imbruglia are in talks to join this year's Strictly Come Dancing. If they accept the invitation, they would bring a touch of Ramsay Street glamour to the programme. Talks are ongoing, but only Stefan Dennis – who has played Paul Robinson since the first episode of Neighbours in 1985 – has been confirmed as a contestant.

Another Neighbours star, Stefan Dennis, has already signed up for the competition. If all three Neighbours stars end up performing, the Strictly dance floor will certainly resemble Ramsay Street.

Sporting Stars and Reality TV Stars

The Sun has revealed that a famous BBC star will be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this year, but the identity remains a secret for now. Among the other sporting names being linked to the show are Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, the former Premier League football striker, and Sir Mo Farah, the legendary Olympic long-distance runner.

From the world of reality TV, Dani Dyer, winner of Love Island in 2018, has reportedly agreed to take part, while Vicky Pattison, a reality TV stalwart, is rumoured to participate. Angellica Bell, a seasoned TV presenter, and Stacey Solomon, known for her successful BBC shows, are also tipped to join the competition.

Gladiators and Apprentice Contestants

Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, known as "Nitro" from the BBC's Gladiators reboot, has already shown off some moves on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special. He has expressed his excitement about taking part in the main show and mentioned several professional dancers from Strictly Come Dancing as potential partners. Nitro took part in last year's Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special and impressed the judges, leading to his inclusion in the main show.

Thomas Skinner, known from The Apprentice, is reportedly "up for giving it his best shot" in Strictly Come Dancing. Balvinder Sopal, known for her role as Suki Panesar in EastEnders, is rumoured to be a participant in this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

Charity Worker and Reality TV Personality

Ashley Cain, known for his charity work and reality TV appearances, is a potential contestant for Strictly Come Dancing. Paul C. Brunson, known from Married At First Sight UK, is tipped to join Strictly Come Dancing this year.

The Countdown Begins

The next 24 hours of discussions between execs and the stars' reps are critical. The 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing will kick off on BBC One this autumn. Stay tuned for more updates on the confirmed lineup!
