Confirmation of David Gilmour's Tour Film and Live Album for Later in the Year - Preview Trailer Shows Pink Floyd Music Performances
David Gilmour fans, mark your calendars! The highly anticipated concert film, "Live at the Circus Maximus, Rome," is set to be released in cinemas and IMAX theatres worldwide on September 17, 2025. Tickets for the film screenings will go on sale on August 6, 2025, and can be purchased at the official website davidgilmour.film.
The live album, titled The Luck and Strange Concerts, will also be released on October 17, 2025, and will consist of 23 tracks spread across two CDs and four pieces of vinyl. This album was recorded during Gilmour's Luck And Strange tour, which stopped at five cities: Brighton, London, Los Angeles, New York, and Rome.
The concert film showcases Gilmour's 2024 performances at the ancient Roman venue, Circus Maximus. The film features a mix of Gilmour's recent solo work and Pink Floyd classics, including songs like "Time," "Comfortably Numb," and "Wish You Were Here."
A special highlight of the album is a duet between Gilmour and his daughter Romany on the song "Between Two Points."
Please note that the cinema release of the concert film is limited in duration. The trailer for the film, which features selections from Gilmour's Luck And Strange tour, is already available for viewing.
The concert film will be released by Sony Music. The tracklist for The Luck And Strange Concerts has not been disclosed at this time.
