Stevie Nicks, the iconic rock legend, has announced the postponement of her current North American tour. The postponed shows are part of her ongoing tour, which was set to begin in August and continue through September[1][3].
The reason for the postponement is a fractured shoulder, which has forced Nicks to take a break from performing for two months[4][6]. The rescheduled tour dates are now planned for late October and November 2025.
In a recent Instagram post on August 1, 2025, Nicks revealed that she is currently working on her third and final album[2]. The new album, yet to be named, is said to be inspired by the devastating fires in Los Angeles in January[7]. The re-release of her 1973 album "Buckingham Nicks" with her former boyfriend Lindsey Buckingham is scheduled for mid-September[5]. It is expected that the new album will be released after the re-release of "Buckingham Nicks".
Nicks, who is 77 years old, had to evacuate her home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood due to the fires in Los Angeles. Following her evacuation, she spent several months in a hotel[8]. Despite the challenges, Nicks remains hopeful and has expressed her desire to resume her tour in early October[3].
