Stevie Nicks Postpones North American Tour and Announces New Album

Renowned US rocker Stevie Nicks has announced the postponement of her current North American tour due to a fractured shoulder. The tour, which was scheduled to begin on August 12 in Boston, has been rescheduled to start on October 1, 2025, at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon[1][3][4].

The postponement comes after the devastating fires in Los Angeles in January, which had a significant impact on Nicks' creative process. In a statement, Nicks revealed that the idea for her new album came to her after the fires[1][2].

Nicks had to leave her house in the heavily affected Pacific Palisades neighborhood due to the fires and spent several months in a hotel[1][2]. The fires also affected her planned August and September shows, which have been rescheduled to late October, November, and December 2025[1][3]. Tickets purchased for the original dates will be honored for the rescheduled shows[1][3][4]. The October dates starting from October 1 are unaffected by the injury and remain on schedule[1][2][3].

In addition to the tour postponement, Nicks also announced that she is working on a new album. The re-release of her 1973 album "Buckingham Nicks" with her ex-boyfriend Lindsey Buckingham is set to be released in mid-September[5]. The new album is expected to be released after mid-September[6].

Nicks, who is 77 years old, took to Instagram to announce the postponement of her tour, expressing her disappointment but assuring fans that she hopes to resume her North American tour in early October[7].
