Stevie Nicks Announces Re-Release of "Buckingham Nicks" and New Album

Rock legend Stevie Nicks, formerly of Fleetwood Mac and a successful solo artist, has announced a significant musical venture. On September 19, 2025, she will be re-releasing her old album "Buckingham Nicks," originally from 1973, with her former boyfriend Lindsey Buckingham.

The re-release will be available on vinyl, CD, and digital formats, all boasting high-fidelity sound sourced from the original analog master tapes. Two limited vinyl editions will also be available, one featuring bonus replica 7-inch singles. The single "Crying In The Night" from this reissue is currently available for streaming.

This marks the first-ever official re-release of the album, which has been long unavailable in digital or remastered form. The announcements and marketing for this reissue focus on the remastering and reissue itself rather than any recent events such as the devastating fires in Los Angeles in January, which Stevie Nicks has revealed inspired her upcoming new album.

Meanwhile, Stevie Nicks has had to pause her current North American tour for two months due to an injury. She fractured her shoulder and will have to reschedule her planned August and September shows. The new album is not a part of her current tour. The 77-year-old Nicks hopes to resume her North American tour in early October.

As for the new album, it remains untitled. It is expected to be released after mid-September, but no further details about the album have been revealed as of yet.
