Concert performance of stories from folklore is called off
The much-anticipated fairy tale concert "Rumpelstilzchen" scheduled for September 28, 2025, at the KUFA has been cancelled due to illness. The City Music School Bamberg, organisers of the event, announced the cancellation in a notice issued recently.
Originally, the concert was to feature Petra Wiegandt, with accompaniment from musicians. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Wiegandt will be unable to perform. In her place, Michael Fiedler (Bass), Martin Funk (Drums), and Michael Nottelmann (Electric Guitar) will take the stage.
"Rumpelstilzchen" is a concert that weaves fairy tale themes into a musical tapestry, promising an enchanting experience for all ages. The concert was scheduled for two performances, at 11 am and 3 pm.
Unfortunately, no rescheduled date for the concert has been announced as of now. The City Music School Bamberg expresses its sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused and assures fans that they will keep them updated on any developments.
The fairy tale concert "Rumpelstilzchen" was set to be a magical event, filled with music and storytelling. While the cancellation is disappointing, we look forward to the possibility of a future performance and the opportunity to experience the enchantment of "Rumpelstilzchen" once more.
