Concert interruption as Luke Bryan gets slapped in the face during live show
Luke Bryan, the popular country musician, recently returned to performing at the North Dakota State Fair after cancelling several shows due to contracting COVID-19. Despite his ongoing recovery from the virus, Bryan expressed his determination to continue his performance.
During his concert on July 26, 2025, an incident occurred where Bryan was hit by an object, suspected to be a foam stress ball, while performing his hit track Country Girl. The individual responsible for the incident has not been identified.
Despite being hit in the face, Bryan did not lose his composure and continued his performance without addressing the incident on stage or on social media. The audience is expected to assist in singing during Bryan's performance due to his health condition.
Numerous clips of the concert were shared on social media, showing Bryan warning the audience that they may observe him hacking during his performance. The incident did not cause a disruption in Bryan's performance.
The Ward County Sheriff’s Department has made a statement about the incident, confirming that there is no complaint filed by Bryan or his representatives, no active criminal investigation, and no information available on the individual responsible. The identity of the person who threw the object at Bryan during his performance remains unknown.
It is important to note that throwing objects at performers during concerts is not acceptable behaviour and can pose a serious risk to the artist's safety. Fans are encouraged to respect performers and enjoy the concert in a safe and responsible manner.
