Kylie Minogue (57), the pop sensation, has let down her fans once again. She's been forced to postpone her Berlin concert, scheduled for June 16 as part of her "Tension Tour," due to a nasty bout of illness. The news was broke via herInstagram account on Friday.
In her heartfelt post, she apologized to her ardent followers for the sudden cancellation. She's unfortunately come down with a viral infection and, despite making a valiant effort to bounce back for the following shows starting June 20, she fears she needs a few more days to regain her full health and deliver an outstanding performance.
Due to the unexpected turn of events, the concerts in Berlin, Lodz, Poland, Kaunas, Lithuania, and Tallinn, Estonia have been put on hold.
Fret not, ticket holders! Your tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates. Her team is diligently working to find new dates, and they'll keep you in the loop.
"I know I've disappointed some of you, but please understand, I don't take this lightly. You guys mean the world to me, and I love this show. I'll miss you next week and can't wait to see you again." she said in her Instagram post.
Back on German Soil in July
Despite the hiccup, KylieMinogue's tour will continue on June 23 in Espoo, Finland. Concerts in Sweden, Denmark, France will follow suit. The second of the three scheduled Germany concerts will take place on July 7 in Düsseldorf. Two days later, she will grace the stage in Stuttgart.
KylieMinogue kicked off her global tour on February 15 in her homeland Australia. Her last concert was on June 6 in Glasgow, UK, before the illness struck. As of now, her planned final concert is scheduled for August 26 in Mexico.
