Concert-goer Drenches Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day with Water During Performance
Green Day's lead singer, Billie Joe Armstrong, put a temporary halt to the band's show at Germany's Hurricane Festival, all due to a pesky water gun-wielding fan in the front row. The concertgoer decided it'd be a brilliant idea to repeatedly aim the water gun straight at Armstrong's kisser. This little display of misdirected enthusiasm caused Armstrong to stop the gig, storm over to the troublemaker, and give 'em a piece of his mind[1][2][4]. He pointed his finger at the culprit, barked out some choice words, and even threatened, "I'll beat your ass." But, once his anger cooled down, the concert was back on!
