ComputerBase Forum doubles photo contests with new community-driven challenge

The ComputerBase Forum is expanding its photo competitions this year. A second contest, the ComputerBase Forum Photo Challenge (CBFFC), will join the existing monthly event. The changes aim to give members more opportunities to showcase their work and shape future themes.

The classic photo contest will continue as before. It opens on the 21st of each month and runs for nine days. The winner of each round selects the theme for the next competition.

A new addition, the CBFFC, was proposed by forum user lowrider20. This contest will launch in February, with its first theme chosen by community vote. Unlike the classic contest, the CBFFC will allow extra time for photographers to capture fresh images. Both contests follow the same entry rules. Every registered member can submit one original photo per competition. Submissions must not have been entered before or posted elsewhere on the forum. All forum account holders are eligible to vote in both contests.

The forum now offers two monthly photo competitions instead of one. Members will have more chances to participate, vote, and influence future themes. The first CBFFC contest begins in February with a community-selected topic.
