Hexen*werk Music Festival Returns to Dortmund on August 2nd

Get ready for an unforgettable night of music and celebration as the Hexenwerk music festival returns to FZW Dortmund on August 2nd, 2025. This year's event promises to be a diverse and empowering experience, showcasing FLINTA (Frauen, Lesben, Intersex, Nichtbinäre, Trans, Agender) artists from across Germany and beyond.

Doors will open at 6:30 PM, giving festival-goers plenty of time to explore the DIY creative market featuring local artists. The event is hosted by Violent Witch Events, experts in Punk and Metal, who have curated a lineup that challenges patriarchal norms and reflects the festival's focus on diversity and artistic expression.

The musical lineup at Hexen*werk 2025 includes a range of genres, from Riot Trap to Powerelectronics. NENDA, an Austrian rapper currently residing in London, will be traveling to perform her unique brand of hip hop. Leipzig's Valley of the Sluts and Berlin's Shimmer will represent eastern Germany with their dramatic Bitch Metal and screamo sounds, respectively. Other local acts include Tigreeez Punch from Bochum, Ripya Hart from Köln, Championne Mondiale from Essen, and Serving Cxnts and SMR.TNI from different cities in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The Hexen*werk music festival is a celebration of the reclaiming of the term "Hexe" (witch), historically used to marginalize women and queer persons, by these communities who embrace it as a symbol of being unconventional, authentic, and empowered. An awareness team will be on-site to ensure an inclusive environment free from discrimination.

Tickets for the festival are €10 at the door, and live music will start at 7:30 PM. Advanced sales for tickets are available via stagedates.com. Don't miss out on this niche, diverse FLINTA music event – join us at Hexenwerk 2025 for a night of music, art, and community!
