Let's get real: Every Thursday, 8:15 PM, ProSieben and joyn airs the anticipation-filled finale of "Germany's Next Topmodel" (GNTM). The remaining eight contestants live on the edge, as they prepare for their final tests in Los Angeles. Experiencing a taste of GNTM victories during the "Harper's Bazaar" cover shoot, they're one step closer to the ultimate title. In the live finale next week, only two will be eliminated, as others bid adieu after four intense months on GNTM.

"Significant Evolution"

The grand finale of GNTM approaches next week. The contestants reflect on their four-month journey, feeling both amused and moved by their casting videos that led them to GNTM. All agree they've made remarkable progress, both inside and out. Daniela (20) recognizes a "totally different Dani," having transformed from a caricature into a confident, open-minded model. Pierre (22) reflects, "We've grown abnormally. No wonder we're in the semifinals." They applaud themselves, encouraged by Pierre's suggestion.

A Foretaste of Triumph

The 2023 GNTM winner will also adorn the cover of "Harper's Bazaar." Traditionally, the cover shoot takes place during the semifinals. Each contestant gets a glimpse of victory, smartly dressed and striking poses around a vintage car. The competition is on point, with stands out like Zoe, Magdalena, Pierre, and Jannik. The edgy outfit choices of Canel and Eliob create some tension, but their charm captivates viewers and the judges alike.

Tensions Arise

The Los Angeles final walk is fast approaching. Each contender has $1,500 in cash to shop for both a daytime and evening outfit. The challenge calls for a quick outfit change, which the contestants should take into account while shopping. While the female contestants stick to their plans, Pierre panics and worries about shopping tours. Eliob struggles with budget limitations as American sales tax on clothing adds extra costs to his purchases.

Fatal Missteps

During the final walk, Zoe's daring leopard look in a park steals the spotlight, while Canel struggles to impress Heidi Klum and Kerstin Schneider. Elio's shirtless and shoeless appearance during the final walk leaves the judges questioning his decision-making skills. He's ultimately eliminated due to his poor choice of outfits and shopping mistakes.

A Bitter End

The contestants are fierce and driven, making the judges' decisions difficult. Moritz, Daniela, Magdalena, and Pierre secure their spots in the finale. The remaining spots go down to Zoe, Jannik, Canel, and Elio. Canel, a cleanup worker, makes a lasting impression throughout the season. Elio's shopping blunders and lack of modeling work cost him a place in the finale. Despite his elimination, he leaves the show grateful for the experience.
