The world of sports is set to witness an exciting fusion of technology and tradition as the "Future Games 2025" in Abu Dhabi approaches. This hybrid (phygital) sports event, scheduled for December 18-23, 2025, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), will feature various disciplines, including mini-football.

To secure a spot in this groundbreaking event, teams must compete in and excel in phygital qualifiers held across the globe. For instance, the "Mexico Quetzales – Armadillos" team has already secured their place in the 2025 Games by winning a phygital football qualifier.

In a recent development, the "Road to Abu Dhabi" tournament for mini-football took place at the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Palace of Sports. The two-day competition involved eight teams, with FCS Karaganda taking second place, Team Novaq finishing fourth, and UEL Team emerging as the champions. UEL Team's victory earned them the right to participate in international competitions.

Meanwhile, another exciting event is set to take place in the capital on July 25-26. This time, it's fijital basketball that will be in the spotlight, with a qualifying tournament scheduled. Unlike the mini-football qualifiers, this tournament does not involve a combination of virtual games and real football. Instead, teams will first compete in computer basketball games, followed by a real match with the same score.

Interestingly, the fijital basketball qualifying tournament does not offer the opportunity to participate in the "Future Games 2025". However, the main prize for the winners is the chance to represent their country in international competitions. The tournament will begin at 10:00, and entry is free for all participants.

Coach Arman Pirmanov of UEL Team, who led his team to victory in the "Road to Abu Dhabi" tournament, has expressed that the opponent in the upcoming fijital basketball qualifying tournament will be very strong. He also stated that his team will prepare thoroughly for the game.

In addition to these tournaments, a qualifying tournament for the mini-football "Road to Abu Dhabi" will also take place in the capital. The exact details of this tournament, such as specific qualification criteria or tournament structure, were not provided.

The "Future Games 2025" promises to be a thrilling event, bringing together the best of both worlds - physical and digital sports. As teams prepare for these qualifying tournaments, the anticipation for the main event in Abu Dhabi continues to grow.

Sports-analysis predicts an intense competition in the forthcoming fijital basketball qualifying tournament, with UEL Team, winners of the "Road to Abu Dhabi" mini-football tournament, aiming to carry their form into the digital basketball realm. Meanwhile, football enthusiasts eagerly await the mini-football qualifiers for the "Future Games 2025" to determine the participating teams, as this event combines sports-analysis, technology, and tradition for a unique gaming experience.
