Yakutia Railways Mini-Football Tournament: Locomotive Takes the Win
In a thrilling display of football skills, the Joint Stock Company "Yakutia Railways" mini-football tournament came to a dramatic conclusion on July 26 in Aldan. The main event of the day was the final match between Locomotive and Path Service, which ended in a 3:3 draw. However, Locomotive emerged victorious in the penalty shootout, securing their first-place finish with a score of 2:1.
The tournament, organised by JSC "Yakutia Railways" as part of their 30th anniversary celebrations, saw three teams compete: Locomotive, Inko (Engineering Corps), and Path Service. The Locomotive team, with members Yusufshon Yeraseinov, Egor Shirokov, Sergei Lukyanov, Vyacheslav Kravtsov, Kirill Sidorenko, Artem Sleptsov, Aisen Sudinov, and Nikita Gerasimov, demonstrated consistent performance throughout the tournament, earning them the top spot with a total of 5 points.
Inko, on the other hand, finished in second place with 3 points. They started strong, winning their first match against Locomotive with a score of 1:4, but later lost to Path Service with a close margin of 1:8. In the final standings, Path Service came in third with 1 point.
The tournament was officiated by the main referee, Alexei Yuryevich Kiselev, who was presented with a separate certificate as a token of gratitude for his fair refereeing. The heads of the social sphere department of JSC "AK 'YDY", Talant Sardalbekov, and the chairman of the trade union committee, Natalya Onufriychuk, also greeted the participants.
All the winners received gift certificates from the DNS network. The tournament provided an enjoyable and competitive atmosphere, showcasing the football talents of the employees of JSC "Yakutia Railways". It was a fitting celebration for the company's 30th anniversary, bringing together colleagues in a friendly yet competitive setting.
