In the heart of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the city of Megion played host to the fourth instalment of the "First Run" extreme race on August 2nd. This challenging event, designed to test participants' character and capabilities, attracted athletes from various cities in the region.
Organisers of the "First Run" race focused on participants' feedback when designing the 2.5 km course, which included natural and artificial obstacles like muddy sections, vertical walls, and water barriers.
The race, which followed the team stage, saw individual races taking centre stage. Notably, 28 teams participated this year, with teams hailing from Megion, Nizhnevartovsk, Langepas, and Noyabrsk.
