Let's Stand Up for Equality at Wildeshausen's Kids' Archery Extravaganza on June 13th!

Advocates for the "All-Inclusive Children's Protection Rally" - Community Gathering: Celebration for "Child Guardians' Event for Everyone"

Hey there! Hearken to the call of the "Guild for All," an initiative determined to shake things up in ** Wildeshausen** this June 13th! Around 5 PM, they're rallying, followed by a march, challenging the traditional kids' archery festivities that bar girls from participating in the "Papagoy" crossbow shoot. The Children's Archery Festival, typically held the Saturday post-Gildefest, has been a long-standing tradition in this Oldenburg district town, widely considered as the year's social peak.

The "Guild for All" is on a mission to change that. They aim to pave the way for girls to join in the fun with their female peers, set apart by the shooting guild's outdated statutes – a boy's club that only allows boys aged 10 to 14 to shoot the "Papagoy." Despite the peaceful revolution initiated by the "Guild for All" during the shooting guild's general assembly in February, the majority of members ultimately voted against equal participation. But the "Guild for All" won't be deterred. They won't rest until they've created a Gildefest that respects tradition yet offers equal opportunities for all children to join in the archery fun!

In the spirit of equality, the "Guild for All" has embarked on a mission to revise both the community policy and employment policy within Wildeshausen. They aim to expand the employment policy to include girls in the "Papagoy" crossbow shoot at the Children's Archery Festival, currently limited to boys due to outdated male-focused policies. In their leisure time, supporters can voice their opinions and join the movement on various social-media platforms, and perhaps even engage in shared discussions about entertainment and lifestyle that further promote equality.
