The much-anticipated Steinauvision Song Contest is set to return for its second edition on August 25, 2025, at the public pool in Steinau. This exciting event, organised by SSC e.V., promises a night of music, entertainment, and friendly competition.
The contest, modelled after the Eurovision Song Contest, will feature various music genres, including rock, pop, Italo-Schlager, and metal. Each of the 12 Steinau neighbourhoods will send an artist to compete, and organiser Felizitas Broj promises a diverse music selection that caters to everyone. Interestingly, artists don't necessarily have to be from the neighbourhood they represent.
The contest will begin after an opening show, followed by an intermission where the jury, representing the neighbourhoods, a professional jury, and the audience, will give their points. The winner of the contest will be crowned at the end and will receive a 500 Euro prize and fame.
