"Farmers Abroad Find Love!": An Exciting Journey Awaits on RTL
"Communal Showering Sessions Occur Here!"
Strap in for a thrilling ride as four international heartthrobs—two farmers, a winemaker, and an equestrian trainer—step into the spotlight in the latest season of the global phenomenon, "Farmer Wants a Wife"! The opening episode promises all the excitement that comes with finding love when Cupidshotguns his arrows towards an international cast.
Inka Bause, the show's matchmaking maverick, can barely contain her joy as she watches love break down borders: "My carry-on bag is always full of hearts!" she asserts with a grin. With this season's influx of romantic-ready farmers from places such as Portugal, Namibia, India, the USA, and Canada, loneliness is certain to lose its grip on countless souls.
Namibia was the location of choice for two farmers: one a vineyard proprietor reveling in island life on Tenerife, and the other an equestrian trainer relishing her peaceful life in Bali. But for this eager loveseeker, known as Carmen, a 42-year-old equestrian trainer and mother of three, domestic happiness wasn't enough: "There's an emptiness when you're alone," she admits, yearning for companionship again. With three failed marriages and three children under her belt, Carmen decided it was time to give love another go.
Sabine, Carmen's mom, flew in from Germany to assist her daughter in selecting suitable candidates. After a grueling selection process, Carmen eventually chose Sven and Patrick for her romantic adventure. But the quest for love is never easy, and the road ahead is rife with challenges and heartache.
Winemaker Roger, a man born and bred in Luxembourg but living his best life on Tenerife, receives the magical trio of ladies: Sophia the farmer, bird photographer Anke, and Ute from Münster. The charming winemaker made sure to prepare plenty of romantic gestures—three bouquets and a warm welcome—to make a lasting impression on his hopeful partners. Sophia, the feisty farmer, grinned from ear to ear as she inspected her luxurious bathroom adorned with an impressive walk-in shower. "We're all showering together here!" she chuckled with pure excitement.
In chilly Brandenburg, two distant Namibian farmers, Bjoern and Marco, welcomed a whopping eight potential partners to their farm. While corn and cattle farmer Bjoern prepared for a speed dating marathon with three hopeful women, shy farmer Marco stealthily targeted five eligible bachelorettes. As the race for love began to heat up, Bjoern first focused his attention on three lucky ladies: 21-year-old Lea, with a Bavarian baseball cap as a warm welcome, and two Sarahs, offering a Tupperware dish brimming with sauerkraut and a set of refreshing drinks called lemonade and schnapps.
However, finding love isn't always straightforward. Bjoern found Lea and Lemonade-Sarah captivating, but the other Sarah didn't quite hit the mark. The disappointed lady from Lower Saxony accepted her fate with grace, declaring, "No problem, that's just how it goes," before departing.
