Commencement of WSV: Assigned Players and Jersey Numbers

Welcome to the WSV squad updates!

Let's get down to business. Slaiman Mohamed Benktib from Oberligist TSV Meerbusch and a player from Hessen Kassel have entered the race for two coveted spots; one in the offensive midfield and another in the defensive holding midfielder position. This duo is ready to shake things up, as one position is still vacant in each role.

Remember Niklas Dams, the old-timer? He kicked off the pre-season with a running training session, setting the tone for the team's comeback.

Coach Klingbeil has been vocal about the focus on physical fitness and team-bonding in the early weeks of the season. To speed things up and foster team cohesion, the club organized a training camp in Willingen (Sauerland) from June 30th to July 5th. This camp should prove to be a massive boost for the team's performance.

Meanwhile, the WSV has released the squad numbers for the upcoming season. Here's the line-up: 1 Krystian Wozniak, 2 Subaru Nishimura, 4 Vincent Gembalies, 6 Joep Munsters, 7 Semir Saric, 9 Kevin Hagemann, 10 Marco Terrazzino, 11 Niek Munsters, 12 Emil Metz, 13 Noel-Etienne Reck, 14 Oktyas Dal, 16 Berkem Kurt, 17 Dildar Atmaca, 19 Pedro Cejas, 20 Dominik Bilogrevic, 21 Dilhan Demir, 22 Levin Müller, 24 Michael Lujambulu, 30 Niklas Dams, 37 Hugo Schmidt, 38 Oguzhan Kefkir, 39 Kilian Cedric Bielitza.

Mark your calendars! The first friendly match is on June 28th against TuS Bövinghausen at 7:30 PM. During the training camp in Willingen, there will be a test match against Preußen Münster’s U23 team on July 2nd (4:30 PM, Lippetal). The team will then face TuS Ennepetal on July 6th (2 PM). The Regionalliga schedule for the season, starting later in July, is due to be released at the beginning of next month, with the Bundesliga schedule already set for July 4th, followed shortly by the fixtures for the lower leagues.

Unfortunately, I can't provide more insight into the specific candidates for the offensive midfield and defensive holding midfielder positions, as the current data does not contain details about WSV's team player line-up and roster. New, updated, or specific sources addressing the WSV team roster as a whole would be required to answer this accurately.

Stay tuned for more updates! Let's cheer for our team!

Slaiman Mohamed Benktib and a player from Hessen Kassel could potentially fill the vacant spots in the offensive midfield and defensive holding midfielder position, respectively. Football matches will be an integral part of the team's preparations, with friendly matches scheduled against TuS Bövinghausen, Preußen Münster’s U23 team, and TuS Ennepetal.
