Commemorate the six-year anniversary of Overwatch and revisit overlooked skins and past events
The much-anticipated release of Overwatch 2 is scheduled for October 2022, and Blizzard Entertainment has announced several exciting offers for both new and existing players.
For those who have already owned any edition of Overwatch, good news! You're eligible to receive the Overwatch 2 Founder's Pack for free. All you need to do is log into the live game before June 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. PDT, and you'll be able to redeem the Founder's Pack by logging in again after the Overwatch 2 launch. Please note that you must log in by 12/05/2022 at 11:59 p.m. PDT to redeem the Founder's Pack.
The Overwatch 2 Founder's Pack includes two epic skins, an exclusive founder's icon, and a surprise gift. Additionally, it does not include access to any future Battle Pass or seasonal/live content.
For players who wish to prepare for the Overwatch 2 launch, the Overwatch 2: Watchpoint Pack is available. This pack includes the Season 1 Premium Battle Pass, two Legendary Hero skins, 2000 virtual currency, an exclusive Player Icon, and access to Overwatch: Legendary Edition (if not already owned).
Season 1 will launch alongside Overwatch 2 in October 2022. The Season 1 Battle Pass applies to Season 1 only and will not award access to any future Battle Pass or seasonal/live content.
Moreover, several Brawls from past seasonal events, including Overwatch Archives, Summer Games, Halloween Terror, Halloween Terror Challenge Missions, Winter Wonderland, Lunar New Year, are returning to Arcade. Anniversary Loot Boxes can also be earned or purchased for a chance to receive items from past Anniversary and seasonal events.
During the Anniversary Remix Vol. 3 event, skins, sprays, player icons, and other items from past Challenge events can be collected by playing Quick Play, Competitive Play, or Arcade. Limited skins, such as Tagged Tracer, Varsity D.Va, Genjiman Genji, are available during the event.
