After a decade of creating beloved games, Yacht Club Games, the developers behind the Shovel Knight series, have announced that they are not slowing down. The studio has committed to continuing their work, aiming to bring the best games they can with the support of players.
One such game is the upcoming Mina the Hollower. Set to release on October 31, 2025, for Nintendo Switch (including the Switch 2) and PC, this new title features hauntingly authentic 8-bit visuals reminiscent of the Game Boy Color era, combined with modern animation, widescreen visuals, and solid controls. Gameplay involves burrowing, fighting monsters with a whip and other weapons, and exploring a large interconnected world inspired by Victorian Gothic horror. A free demo is available on the Nintendo eShop for both Switch consoles.
