Born on January 18, 1988, in Bogotá, Juan Arbelaez emerged as a force to be reckoned with on the Parisian culinary scene. With deep roots in his native Colombia[1], he embarked on a new journey at 18, moving to Paris to pursue his passion. He completed his culinary studies and worked alongside illustrious chefs such as Éric Briffard, Éric Fréchon, and Pierre Gagnaire[5].
Arbelaez's life took an interesting turn in 2012, when he auditioned for and participated on the third season of the French cooking competition, "Top Chef"[1]. Following his journey on the show, he became the head chef at the restaurant l'Acajou[1].
