Car Crash after Overtaking Attempt: Six People Suffered Injuries
Six individuals, including a four-month-old baby, endured injuries in a collision in the Coesfeld district. This incident took place on Saturday evening on the L 580, between Rorup and Billerbeck, as reported by the Coesfeld police on Sunday afternoons.
The initial perpetrator, a 23-year-old man, decided to overtake cars in front of him, leading to a collision with a 19-year-old woman, who was also trying to overtake. The 23-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle, resulting in an additional collision with a car ahead.
The consequences included the 67-year-old woman, a 69-year-old woman, and a 69-year-old man occupying the car in question, who experienced injuries due to the crash. The 67-year-old woman suffered serious damage, while the 19-year-old female driver remained unscathed, and the other involved partakers experienced minor injuries. The scene of the incident was blocked off for approximately one and a half hours.
