Get ready, fashion enthusiasts! The highly anticipated Edison Chen x Adidas Originals capsule collection is set to debut at the CLOT Country Club pop-up in London, opening on July 4 and running through July 13.
This unique collaboration, which features a courtside collection inspired by the iconic Adidas Stan Smith, will be available globally on adidas.com and select retailers on July 12. But if you're in London, you'll have the chance to secure pop-up exclusives and even meet Edison Chen in person, as he will be hosting a meet-and-greet at the pop-up on July 5.
The collection, which includes the CLOT x Adidas Stan Smith Espadrille and possibly other designs like the CLOT Stan Smith Beaded by Edison Chen, can be purchased through the adidas CONFIRMED app starting July 12th for the Espadrille models. The CLOT Stan Smith Beaded by Edison Chen became available for signup on the CONFIRMED app on June 21.
Edison Chen describes the aesthetic of the capsule as "the kid who shows up, racket in hand, looking effortless yet refined." The collection features a variety of pieces, such as crochet vests, striped polos, fringed shorts, and a camp shirt, all designed to complement the jute-soled Stan Smith.
The central piece of the capsule is a Stan Smith mounted on a jute espadrille midsole, available in white leather and black woven fabric. The sneakers boast a deconstructed upper and a chenille heel moustache for added texture.
The colour palette for the apparel includes forest green, cream, chocolate brown, maroon, and gold, while the campaign for the capsule features Stan Smith himself, Hoyeon, Blondey, Formula 1 driver George Russell, and model Jashlem.
