Colin Jost/Domingos Costa Duo Opens 2026 Monastery Concert Series with *Sleepwalkers*

The 2026 classical concert series Concerts in the Monastery kicks off on February 8 with a four-hand piano recital. The acclaimed Colin Jost/Domingos Costa Duo will perform at 4:30 PM in St. Stephen’s Hall at Langwaden Monastery. Tickets are selling fast, with only a few remaining for the event.

The performance, titled Sleepwalkers, will showcase works by Schubert, Liszt, Debussy, and Fauré. The Duo is known for its refined virtuosity, tonal sensitivity, and bold programming choices. Their recordings have aired on multiple public radio stations, and they have designed innovative events blending music with dance.

The Colin Jost/Domingos Costa Duo was formed in 2006 by Portuguese pianist Domingos Costa and French pianist Yseult Jost. Both completed a Master’s in piano duo performance in 2013. Their partnership earned them the top prize at the Grieg Competition for Piano Duo in Oslo. The Portuguese government has also recognised their artistic contributions and cultural impact. Langwaden Monastery offers more than just music—visitors can enjoy dining before or after the concert. Tickets cost €15 and are available online at stadt-grevenbroich.reservix.de or in person at Villa Erckens.

The concert marks the start of this year’s Concerts in the Monastery series. With limited tickets left, attendees can expect an evening of intricate piano performances in a historic setting. The Duo’s reputation for creativity and skill ensures a memorable opening to the season.
