Coinfinity Revives Vienna's Bitcoin Hub with a Focus on Community and Education

Coinfinity has taken over bitcoin.wien, a well-known physical hub for Bitcoin enthusiasts in Vienna. The store will remain a key space for education, consulting, and community events. Founder Emanuel Sanchez de la Cerda will stay involved, ensuring continuity for visitors.

bitcoin.wien first opened in 2018 at Favoritenstraße 16, quickly becoming a central meeting point for Bitcoin supporters. It hosted regular meetups, workshops, and discussions before Coinfinity acquired it in early 2020. After the takeover, the store relocated to Mariahilfer Straße 113, where it continued operating under Coinfinity's management.

The space will keep its focus on face-to-face advice and learning. A dedicated book corner will feature Bitcoin literature from Aprycot Media. Coinfinity also plans to collaborate with Bitcoin Austria and other partners to organise in-person events.

Coinfinity views bitcoin.wien as a natural extension of its digital services. The company aims to strengthen Bitcoin infrastructure in physical retail, offering personalised support alongside its online platforms.

bitcoin.wien will remain open as a place for Bitcoin education and networking. The store's ongoing events and resources will help maintain its role in Vienna's Bitcoin community. Coinfinity's commitment ensures the hub will continue supporting both new and experienced users.
