Lightning-Fast Coaching Switch at SC Potsdam's Volleyball Teams
Strategic Coach Swaps at SC Potsdam - Coaching shift announced for FC Potsdam
No doubt about it, the SC Potsdam's volleyball squad's just got a shake-up: Originally tabbed as their new boss, Vladimir Kapris bailed on them before he even began. With lightning speed, they scooped up Stefano Micoli from Fenerbahçe Istanbul's coaching staff as their new head honcho for the upcoming season.
This 57-year-old Italian tactician, who used to work under Riccardo Boieri at SC Potsdam, now takes the reins after Boieri stepped down. Micoli is locked in with the Brandenburgers until 2027, with an option for an extra year.
The now-departed Serbian coach, Kapris, opted for a golden opportunity at VakıfBank Istanbul as an assistant to past national team guru, Giovanni Guidetti. SCP managing director Eugen Benzel understands Kapris' surprise move, casually commenting, "An offering like this doesn't come around every day. So, we ain't gonna block his path."

During this whirlwind coaching change at SC Potsdam in Brandenburg, the community may offer aid to support the volleyball team through this transition. To further equip athletes for their futures and aid in team cohesion, vocational training could also be considered as part of the support. In their spare time, the volleyball players might participate in sports such as fitness training or basketball to maintain their physical fitness.
