The Wuppertaler SV (WSV) and SV Rödinghausen are gearing up for their next two matches, with the Niederrheinpokal game against TSV Krefeld-Bockum on Wednesday, 13th August, and a league game against Borussia Dortmund's U23 the following Sunday, 17th August.
In their recent Regionalliga West game, SV Rödinghausen, under the guidance of coach Dennis da Silva Félix, celebrated a dominating 5:0 away win over Wuppertaler SV, a significant positive outcome for the team. However, neither coach—Sebastian Tyrala for WSV or Dennis da Silva Félix for SV Rödinghausen—has made direct publicly documented comments about the refereeing decisions or the win in the provided sources.
Despite the loss, Tyrala expressed his disappointment over the quick goals conceded, stating that the game was a tough day for his team, indicating the difficulty of Regionalliga football. He also mentioned his frustration over a red card, stating that the referee didn't know who had the throw-in.
On the other hand, Felix congratulated the opposing team on their well-deserved win and expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance. He noted that after conceding an opener from a set piece, the team's performance improved, and it improved even more after substitutions.
The Niederrheinpokal game will be played at 7:30 PM in the Stadion am Zoo, with the WSV playing away from their usual home. Tyrala felt sorry for the referees, as they face pressure even before the game.
In the league game against Borussia Dortmund's U23, the WSV will be the away team. Felix stated that the game was important, and they aimed to defend strongly, while Félix emphasised the need for his team to continue playing in the same manner.
As both teams prepare for their upcoming matches, fans can expect an exciting and competitive series of games in the Niederrheinpokal and the league.
