Weather Alert: Fog and Rain in Lower Saxony & Bremen - Here's the Lodown
- Cloudy and damp weather hits Lower Saxony and Bremen
Get ready for a bit of foggy business until midday today in Lower Saxony and our lovely city of Bremen! The German Weather Service (DWD) has the scoop. Expect some scattered, at times dense fog rolling through. But don't worry, there'll be a brief respite later when the skies clear-ish and a smattering of rain and snow showers creep in from the coast. High temps will hover around seven degrees, dip to four in the chilly Harz mountains. A moderate north wind will be blowing along the North Sea, with a zephyr elsewhere.
Skin a cat and flip the calendar to the wee hours of Friday, and you'll find skies largely overcast with the odd snow or sleet shower. The DWD predicts local fog might roll in, too. Temperatures will take a dive to a brisk minus three to zero degrees, with icy conditions probable on the roads, except along the coast where frost-free bliss will prevail.
