Everybody knows rowdy pop singer Max Giesinger (36) – and his partner-in-crime, Johannes Oerding (42). When it comes to blowing off steam, Oerding is the man with the plan. As Giesinger told the German Press Agency, "when we hit the town together, Johannes is the one who says, ‘C'mon, let's stay a while longer. Another round of beers.’ And I'm already calling it a night." Once Oerding gets going, it's like trying to stop a freight train!

The two pop stars are neighbors in vibrant Hamburg, living within shouting distance of each other. "It's not uncommon for us to unexpectedly run into each other or share a meal," says Giesinger. "Between the music grind and touring, it's tough to make friends. So, it's bloody great to have a pal like Johannes after all these years."

With "Wimpernschlag," they've taken their friendship to a new level, creating their first collaborative track together. Originally, Giesinger wrote the song for himself and even performed it live before asking Oerding to join in. Why? Because they've shared plenty of wild moments, and it's only fitting to have him along for the ride. Oerding quickly agreed, saying, "Dude, I'm in. Thumbs up."
