Climbing Wall Installation Completed in Under-Construction Sports Complex in Kuban Agricultural Institute
A large fitness and wellness centre is taking shape in Krasnodar’s Uchkhoz Kuban district. Covering 15,000 square metres, the facility will offer training spaces for multiple sports. Construction is now 75% complete, with plans to open in early 2026.
The project began under the direction of Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev. It forms part of the regional Development of Public Infrastructure programme. Workers are currently finishing interior fittings, installing utilities, and landscaping the surrounding area.
The centre will include a football pitch, running tracks, and halls for wrestling, volleyball, basketball, handball, and futsal. A 12-metre climbing wall has already been installed, supporting various climbing disciplines. Gyms, locker rooms, and showers will also be available for visitors.
The facility is set to open in the first half of 2026. Once complete, it will provide local athletes and residents with modern training and wellness amenities. The governor’s initiative aims to expand public sports infrastructure across the region.
