Chill out, Fridays for Future Germany, 'cause I've got the lowdown on Olaf Scholz's climate game plan! The SPD dude's been MIA on the world stage lately, with COP28 kickin' off next week in Dubai. The climate activists are cryin' out, "Where ya at, Scholz? And which side of history do ya wanna be on?" they ask in their open letter to the fella.

The activists weren't exactly thrilled about last week's Karlsruhe budget ruling either, which nullified the reallocation of 60-bil' from the 2021 budget for climate change and economic modernization. It's still unclear what's happenin' with the projects that were supposed to get funded from the Climate and Transformation Fund.

So, what's Scholz been up to on the climate front? Well, he's been rollin' with the times, championing Germany's commitment to tacklin' the climate crisis. He's called for a phase-out of fossil fuels at COP28 and told the world that Germany's all-in on achievin' climate neutrality by 2045. Scholz's also been advocatin' for expandin' renewable energy capacities to take the place of fossil fuels, and he's backed the coalition agreement's commitments to phase out coal by 2030 and power gen from natural gas by 2040.

Despite the global energy crisis and geopolitical considerations, Scholz's keepin' the faith on the energy transition. He recently presented a €200-bil' plan to help industry and households through the transition, so don't worry, he's got your back. And, even though the Karlsruhe budget ruling could potentially impact climate policies, Scholz's keepin' the pressure on, pushin' forward with Germany's broader climate goals.

So, come on, Olaf! Don't be a no-show at COP28 – the world's countin' on ya! And, while you're at it, let's make sure Germany's still walkin' the talk on climate change. Sound good? Alrighty then, peace out!
