Cleveland Cavaliers' 2025-2026 Season Games to be Broadcast Across Multiple Platforms

The Cleveland Cavaliers' 2025-2026 season games will be available to a wide audience, as they are set to be broadcast on various networks and streaming platforms. The games will be simulcast on Rock Entertainment Sports Network statewide, with additional coverage on ESPN, ABC, Fubo, Peacock, and FanDuel Sports Network.

Kicking off the season, the Cavaliers will face the New York Knicks on October 22, 2025, at 7 p.m. ET, which will be simulcast on ESPN and Fubo. The team's home opener against the Detroit Pistons on October 27, 2025, will air on Peacock.

On Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, the Cavaliers will take on the New York Knicks once again, this time on ABC, ESPN, and Fubo. The team will also have a marquee game on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 20, 2026, against the Oklahoma City Thunder, which will be simulcast on regional and national platforms.

FanDuel Sports Network will broadcast several games, including the Cavaliers' match against the Memphis Grizzlies on February 23, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. EST. The games will be aired on WUAB channel 43 in addition to local channels. Fans in Columbus can view the games on channel 17.1 WDEM, while those in Cincinnati can tune in to channel 19.3.

In Northeast Ohio, fans can access Rock Entertainment Sports Network on channel 979 on Spectrum and free over-the-air on channel 22.1, as well as on WUAB Channel 43. The games will also be available for local over-the-air distribution.

Mike Conley, the executive vice president and chief information officer of Cleveland Cavaliers, Rock Entertainment Group, and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, stated that airing these games creates expanded local market access to the team. David Hughes, the vice president and general manager of WOIO and WUAB, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of this wide reach.

The Cavaliers have secured an agreement for five games to be simulcast, including matches against the Brooklyn Nets on Mar. 11 at 7 p.m. EST, the New York Knicks on Apr. 2 at 7 p.m. EST, and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. EST, among others. The team will also face the San Antonio Spurs on Mar. 27 at 7 p.m. EST.

This broad distribution strategy aligns with the NBA's recent approach to distribute marquee Cavaliers games across national networks and streaming services simultaneously, aiming to maximize viewership both regionally and nationally. The NBA's agreement with Main Street Sports Group (formerly Diamond Sports Group) is involved in this arrangement.
