Brutally Honest Rant: Wagenknecht Slams Corona Commission, Demands Amnesty for Fine-Paying Citizens

BSW founder Sahra Wagenknecht has criticized the upcoming corona commission as a mere political trick, falling far short of what's required to address the pandemic's fallout. Speaking bluntly, she stated to the Editorial Network Germany (RND), "This setup is nothing more than a for-show tactic that fails dismally to address the mess created during the Corona period."

The ex-Left Party member expressed exasperation that, five years after the first lockdown, there's still no recourse for victims and no amnesty for fines and penalties levied during the initial restrictions. "The lockdown approach was 90% misguided," said Wagenknecht, "and it was more than just mask fiddling that Jens Spahn should take the rap for. There were way more egregious mistakes, culminating in unparalleled injustice."

Politics Galore - Sky-High Mask Prices Debated Today

A Corona commission of inquiry will be established in the Bundestag today at the behest of the governing factions. However, Wagenknecht isn't impressed: "The Corona commission is nothing more than slick window-dressing designed to divert attention from the government's mistakes."

Wagenknecht expressed to RND her opinion that "political pressure on dissenters and vaccine coercion with the disgusting smearing of the unvaccinated were impossible in any liberal constitutional state."

Politics Again "Spahn Fiasco" Unraveled Soon

Warken intends to release Spahn's report detailing his handling of the controversial protective mask procurement at inflated prices during the pandemic. Health minister Nina Warken and the former Minister Jens Spahn will both testify today in the budget committee. The debate centers around a report by the special investigator Margaretha Sudhof, appointed by Warken's predecessor, Karl Lauterbach. She was tasked with investigating Spahn's actions regarding mask purchases and logistics companies. The federal government potentially faces legal repercussions totaling millions from simmering disputes with companies.

Wagenknecht, ever the vocal dissenter, has condemned the government's Corona policies as "a reign of injustice" and continues to demand a Corona commission of inquiry. "The federal government must apologize to the population for its disastrous Corona policy and enact an amnesty law," she reiterated to RND.
