Clea Shearer's Reading Recommendations: A Guide for Thriller Lovers

Clea Shearer, co-founder of the popular organising company The Home Edit, is known for prioritising daily reading. One book that jump-started her love for thrillers is Gillian Flynn's "Gone Girl". This psychological thriller, according to Shearer, is a must-read.

Shearer found the book "The Last Mrs. Parrish" by Liv Constantine to be fantastic from beginning to end. She was completely surprised by the plot, which added to her enjoyment of the book. Another psychological thriller that Shearer highly praised is "Behind Closed Doors" by B.A. Paris, for keeping her on the edge of her seat.

Shearer also recommends reading "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie, a classic mystery novel in the whodunnit genre. If you're looking for a book with fantasy elements, Shearer enjoyed the series "Throne of Glass" by Sarah J. Maas, despite not typically liking books with fantasy elements.

As for Shearer's personal favourite author or a book similar to "Gone Girl" that she recommends, there is no clear, public statement to that effect. Shearer has recommended "Gone Girl" in interviews and on social media, but a specific recommendation of another author or book as a "must-read" for fans of "Gone Girl" is not known.

On Tuesday, Shearer will be releasing her new book titled "Cancer is Complicated: And Other Unexpected Lessons I've Learned". As for the prices of the books mentioned, "Gone Girl" by Gillian Flynn is available on Amazon for $10.80, "The Last Mrs. Parrish" by Liv Constantine for $10.78, "The Housemaid" by Freida McFadden for $10.78, "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie for $8.56, and "Behind Closed Doors" by B.A. Paris for $9.88.
