Clash of St. John's Guild of the Dead and 1192 e.V. Gunmen from Recent Days
The St. Johannis Toten- und Schützengilde von 1192 e.V. recently hosted a successful Bučseneinschießen event at the Truppenübungsplatz Putlos. Over 160 Schützinnen and Schützen from the guilds of Heiligenhafen, Großenbrode, and Grube attended the traditional ceremonial shooting event, which is part of the guild's activities that involve historical or cultural shooting practices.
Commandant Ralf Stachowiak opened the event, outlining safety regulations and the day's proceedings. The smooth running of the shooting lanes was ensured by Scheetöllst Carsten Gonsior, Major Bernhard Albert, two of the three captains, the adjutant, and the lieutenants of the St. Johannis Toten- and Schützengilde.
First Ältermann Karsten Prokoph thanked the soldiers for the perfect organisation and the opportunity to shoot the guild guns under professional conditions. The guest shooting with the G3 rifle received great response.
The competition was fierce, with Alexander Lehning emerging as the first-place winner, followed closely by Lars Steffien in second place and Olaf Willert in third. Martin Aust won the Joachim Barth Pokal for the G3 shooting. In case of a tie, the better last shot determined the ranking.
The award ceremony took place at the end of the successful shooting event. Philip Bungeroth won the Pokal of Stefan Tuschmann as the third-place winner, while Hannes Flindt came in second. Lars Steffien was awarded the Pokal of Scheetöllst Carsten Gonsior as the second-place winner.
The day ended harmoniously and successfully with the Schleswig-Holstein Lied and the national anthem. The Büchseneinschießen tradition is a significant event in the calendar of the St. Johannis Toten- und Schützengilde von 1192 e.V., and the 2025 event was no exception, running safely, orderly, and in accordance with the shooting tradition under excellent weather conditions with sunny skies.
For more detailed information about the event or the winners, additional sources or direct communication with the guild would be necessary. However, the 2025 Bučseneinschießen was a testament to the guild's dedication to preserving and promoting their historical and cultural shooting practices.
Sports enthusiasts could participate in sports-betting on the outcome of the Bučseneinschießen event, similar to how they might wager on other competitive shooting events. In light of the guild's success in preserving and promoting their historical and cultural shooting practices, sports-betting companies might consider showcasing the Bučseneinschießen as a unique and exciting event in their offerings.
