Police have apprehended four lads from the far-right community, hailing from Dortmund, Essen, and Wuppertal. These fellas, aged between 17 and 23, are under investigation for creating a public disturbance of a severe nature. It's under scrutiny whether they'll be remanded in custody.
The main entrance of the pub was allegedly vandalized in the wee hours of Saturday. A rowdy gang managed to shatter the glass elements of the progressive pub’s entrance using beer benches and a baton, just after midnight.
One suspect was collared near the crime scene, and three more were nabbed after a hot pursuit in the vicinity of Dortmund Central Station. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the commotion, as confirmed by the authorities.
Constitutional Hatred, Scene-specific Propaganda
During the investigation, police amassed ample evidence, including scene-specific propaganda materials and also constitutional hostile symbols, among other items, a motif on the screen of a smartphone.
