City water cleaning operations carried out by divers in urban waterways
Nizhny Novgorod, Russia — A recent cleaning operation aimed at ensuring the safety and enjoyment of its lakes has been initiated by local authorities. The video about the lake cleaning was published by GTRK "Nizhny Novgorod" on May 22, 2025.
One of the key figures involved in this operation is Ilya Burmakov, a diver who is part of the emergency rescue squad of the management of the MCKU "GOChS". The bottom of all lakes in Nizhny Novgorod is currently being checked, with the process expected to be completed by May 23. Divers have initiated a cleaning operation at the bottom of 14 urban bodies of water in an unspecified location.
