In the aftermath of a terrorist act in Sochi, residents who have suffered damage are entitled to a one-time cash payment, as stated in the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Resolution of the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory.

The cash payments vary depending on the severity of the injuries sustained. Those who have lost their lives are eligible for 1.5 million rubles, to be shared equally among family members. Those who have suffered severe or moderate injuries will receive 600,000 rubles, while those with minor injuries will receive 300,000 rubles.

The document collection for these payments has already begun in Sochi. Relatives of the deceased and injured can submit their documents at the Administration of the Adler District of Sochi, located at Sochi, ul. Kirava, 53, room 26, between 10:00 and 13:00, Monday to Wednesday. The contact number for the Administration is 8(862)240-17-94.

It is important to note that the charity fund "Sko'reĭ Dobreĭ" does not play a role in the financial aid distribution for victims of the terrorist act in Sochi, as it operates on a voluntary basis and does not provide financial aid.

While specific procedural details for cash payments in Sochi are not available, the general framework for terrorism victim compensation in Russia follows a standard process. This includes:

  1. Official recognition of the victim status by authorities.
  2. Submission of required documents (identity, medical/death certificates).
  3. Application to local government or designated compensation authority.
  4. Verification process.
  5. Payment from federal and local funds.

For precise Sochi-specific procedures, victims or families would typically be advised to contact local municipal authorities or the Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee. Consulting an official Russian government website or legal offices dealing with victim support is also recommended for current, detailed instructions or forms applicable specifically to the Sochi context.
