City Festival Invitation: Join us for a thrilling three-day celebration in the heart of the metropolis, hosted by Willich.

The city of Willich is gearing up for its annual celebration, the "Back to Willich" festival. This year's event promises a fun-filled weekend with music, food, and activities for all ages.

The main day of the festival is Sunday, with a non-stop program on stage from 11 am to 5:45 pm. A large stage measuring eight by six meters will be set up on the market, hosting a varied program all day. The Scouts, the local history association Schiefbahn, the ASV, the Prince's Guard, the youth fire brigade, the DRK, the Bossel and Bügel club, the KG Torfmoeps, a fashion show, and MiniBeatz/TeenyBeats will all perform on stage on Sunday.

On Sunday evening, a band called "OK - Die Band aus Nettetal" will take the stage, providing a musical retrospective of the 1980s. On Saturday, the Nettetal band "OK - The Band from Nettetal" will perform, taking attendees on a musical journey back to the 80s. Another band, "McLennon," which plays hits from the Beatles and other rock stars, will also perform on Saturday.

The "White Party" kicks off the festival on Friday evening, with a theme of everyone dressing in white.

The festival will span various locations, including the market, Huelsdonkstraße, Peterstraße, and Kaiserplatz. A carousel for children will be located on Huelsdonkstraße, along with the DRK and public toilets.

For food lovers, the "Gourmet Mile" will be available throughout the festival, offering a variety of options such as spirits, cocktails, spit roast, currywurst and chips, burgers, churros, burritos, pasta from the cheese wheel, and poffertjes.

Associations and institutions will present themselves throughout the city during the festival, both on stage and with stands. The festival will also include Sunday shopping, making it a true family event.

Please note that the "Seaworld" bouncy castle will not be available during the "Back to Willich" festival, as it is only set up on Saturday. However, a gigantic bouncy castle named "Seaworld" will be set up at Halle 22 on Sunday.

The "Seaworld" bouncy castle has dimensions of 20 meters in length, 11 meters in width, and 8.5 meters in height.

So, mark your calendars and join the fun at the "Back to Willich" city festival!
