City fair set for Yakutsk upcoming schedule
On April 6, 2024, an Open City Exhibition of laikas will take place in Yakutsk, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The event is organised by the Ministry of Ecology, Nature Management and Forestry of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), LLC Union of Hunting and Fishing Societies of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Yakutsk City Administration, and the Baayana Club of Lovers of Hunting Dogs.
The venue for the exhibition is Komsomolskaya Square in Yakutsk. The exhibition is open to Eastern Siberian, Western Siberian, Russian-European, and Karelian laikas aged from 10 months to 10 years old. Dogs must have a veterinary certificate of vaccination against rabies and cholera, a veterinary certificate form No. 1, 4, as well as a certificate of origin or a hunting dog certificate to participate.
Registration for the event begins at 9:00, and ring events start at 11:00. The pre-registration fee is 1000 rubles, and on-site registration is 1500 rubles. It is important to note that dogs without documents and unrecognized breeds are not allowed to participate in the event. The judges for the event are Konstantinov R.R. (2nd category) and Borisov Y.P. (2nd category).
