City Elections in Lünen 2025: Election for Mayor's Position
The results of the 2025 municipal election in Lünen have been announced, with a runoff election scheduled for September 28. The election, held on September 14, saw a higher voter turnout compared to the 2020 election, reaching 51.5 percent.
In the race for the city council, the SPD was the strongest faction with 27.11 percent of the votes, followed closely by the CDU with 25.0 percent.
