Deputies' Opinions
Sechenov highlighted during the meeting that the primary issues raised by Tomsk residents concerned trash collection, road maintenance, and transportation system development.
"It was a challenging year. We had unreliable contractors that let us down in road repairs and school renovations. We didn't fully complete some programs, but overall, we met the goals set for 2024. I'd like to note that the administration was honest about problems and, most importantly, about potential solutions," remarked Deputy Maxim Reznikov.

"For the most part, the agreements we discussed when approving the 2024 budget with the city administration were met. Among the positive aspects, I'd highlight the quick response from the mayor's office leadership – from the mayor himself, his deputies, and department heads – to emerging issues," stated Deputy Maxim Zabelin.
However, he emphasized that work still needs to be done on several issues. "This includes street and sidewalk cleaning, especially during the spring season. Of course, establishing outdoor lighting on annexed territories and city outskirts, where it's still lacking, is also crucial," he added.
