Circus SE Stock: New Hope Bearer?

Circus SE has begun deploying autonomous robot systems in Ukraine, marking the first use of 'embodied AI' in an active conflict. The company signed a framework agreement on December 17, 2025, to supply up to 25 CA-1 robotic units for tactical logistics. These systems will initially support the 3rd Assault Brigade at BRAVE1 training facilities before wider use in early 2026.

The agreement covers the deployment of Circus SE’s KI-supported supply robots, designed to enhance logistics operations under combat conditions. The first phase focuses on the 3rd Army Corps’ training sites, with full integration planned across Ukrainian forces by 2026. This move represents a major step for autonomous technology in military applications.

The company’s stock initially dipped after the announcement, hitting a 52-week low of €12.00 earlier in the week. However, investor interest grew as details emerged, pushing the share price up by 1.60% on Friday to close at €12.70. Despite the rebound, the stock remains nearly 18% below its 200-day moving average, reflecting lingering market caution. Circus SE’s push into defence follows a challenging year financially. The contract with Ukraine provides an opportunity to demonstrate its technology’s reliability while seeking to stabilise its market position.

The deployment of 25 CA-1 systems will test autonomous logistics in real-world combat scenarios. Circus SE’s stock performance suggests mixed confidence, though the contract offers a potential turning point. Full operational use is expected to begin in early 2026, with initial training already underway.
