Cinema venues in East Kazakhstan to commence operations
In a recent announcement, cinemas in both Almaty and the East Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan will reopen with a maximum occupancy of 30%. This decision, made by Danial Akhmetov, the Akim of East Kazakhstan region, was shared on his Instagram page and reported by Almaty.tv and YK-news.kz.
The seating arrangement in these cinemas will resemble a chessboard to ensure social distancing, ensuring that patrons maintain a safe distance from one another. Each cinema hall will be limited to a maximum of 100 people.
This move comes as Kazakhstan aims to balance public health concerns with economic activity. Currently, cinemas across the country are allowed to operate at 75% occupancy, as announced by Danial Akhmetov, the country's official responsible for COVID-19 measures.
Meanwhile, reports from scientists have identified the detention center in the Florida Everglades known as "Alligator Alcatraz" as the most infected place with coronavirus. The facility, described as a "petri dish for disease," is currently experiencing a widespread COVID-19 outbreak under inhumane conditions.
As cinemas in Kazakhstan reopen, patrons can rest assured that safety measures are in place to protect their health. The reopening of cinemas in Almaty and the East Kazakhstan region is subject to these measures, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
